Who is Copper Frog Distilling?

We are a small family-run business focused on making the highest quality, great-tasting spirits and liqueurs developed our own unique processes and recipes, is the first and only distillery in beautiful Exmouth Devon.

Copper Frog Distilling doesn't pretend to be something it's not. We're not a huge operation, But what that allows us to do is learn this craft at our pace on our terms. No one telling us to hurry up and sell before we're ready. We'll bottle and sell our spirits only when we are completely sure that you'll not only want to buy one bottle, you'll want to come back and buy another. Every batch we produce is handcrafted and is a small batch where we pride ourselves on quality and consistency. The art of craft distilling is not a skill one acquires overnight, and there are no shortcuts to hard earned, hands-on experience. We are not trying to be a commercial distiller but we are trying to be your trusted and local supplier of quality alcohol spirits and unique experiences at a Copper Frog Distilling. we want you to be impressed, We believe in what we produce, and are proud of what goes into the making each spirit. These spirits are personal to us.

This is craft distilling – not mass production. This is true craftsmanship. The end result is a quality handcrafted spirit that promises to be the spirit of Exmouth We then bottle and number each batch by hand to ensure its authenticity

Our Philosophy

Why do we do it this way? Our accountant will tell you it certainly isn’t the most lucrative way to run a distillery. It’s simple: we love and respect the tradition of this age-old process, and we believe it results in a superior spirit. Every time.

If you share this philosophy, we think you’ll appreciate what we do and how we do it. And most importantly, we think you’ll love our spirit.

We distil our spirits painstakingly, taking only the hearts and cutting out the heads and tails. There are no shortcuts taken, no technical loopholes exploited. We call our process “slow crafting” to differentiate it from the alternative.
